Madame Lemy

Madame Lemy is an all-natural powder deodorant brand, and was inspired by the Founder Holly Eve’s grandmother who had an appreciation for designs of the 1920’s. There are 4 different fragrances sold individually, and they also offer a gift set that includes all fragrances. Holly approached me with the idea of creating a sleeve that can be used over the gift set to make it further giftable for different occasions throughout the year. This particular sleeve was intended as a wedding gift or favor.
The original packaging uses a mix of custom watercolor illustrations and line (vector) art, so we kept a similar approach and created a sleeve design that incorporates illustrations of wedding inspired items such as a wedding cake, ring, something blue and etc. We used stock vector art for the outlines and created custom watercolor illustrations to work with the vectors to tie it back in to the original design. This allowed us to work within the budget while also creating a customized look that is consistent with their branding.
