Luxury fashion designer Jason Wu- also known as the designer to dress the former First Lady Michelle Obama- wanted to create a floral scent that reflects his feminine design aesthetic for his first fragrance. Florals play an important role in his designs, and the packaging design was inspired by his Spring 2012 Collection prints. The vessel is designed with a straight wall silhouette to keep it modern, while using bisque material and his signature print to add feminine softness to the overall appearance. In contrast, the lid is a delicate, thin profile in gold plating for a touch of luxury, which also keeps dust out of the wax for a clean burn each time.
